Love this mom and pop pizza place. Throw back to before pizza chains were common in small towns. Staff always wonderful. The only downfall is no fries. But the pizza makes up for it.
The chicken, bacon, ranch pizza is amazing! Staff is super kind and helpful. Small little place but really recommend the pizza.
So good! They even delivered right to the lake dock and was perfect to take out and enjoy! We got the chicken and wild rice pizza and you should definitely give it a try!
I was finally able to make it over to indulge in the afternoon pizza and salad bar buffet all the locals talk about. Parking can be a bit hairy as it's right downtown and close to a one way street, you may have a little walk but not far. Inside seems small but if you explore further back, there lies the restrooms and another room with larger tables for big families or for meetings. You have the option of putting your order in at the counter or, surprisingly, there are staff that will come to your table. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Prices were a bit steep I felt, but so is everything at the moment. I spent about $15 for the pizza and salad bar combo (which I strongly suggest) and a drink. There's a good selection of bottled drinks. The salad bar was stocked and fresh filled with lots of interesting selections including potato salad. They even offered little mini brownie bites! You also had the choice between 2 soups, and 2 pastas. There were at least 4-5 pizza selections as well. You won't go away hungry. I will say the pizza was just OK in my opinion. It's sufficient. The crust lacked ant substance for my taste and was a bit too chewey. The red sauce seemed non-existing and/or was a bit too acidic. Could have used a tad more sweetness. The toppings were generous and tasty although. I'm not typically a sausage person but you could definitely taste the cardamom. The chicken wild rice pizza with white sauce was an interesting surprise! Give it a try. Sorry, I didn't remember to take any pix. I'll add then when I return.
A very decent thin crust pizza. If you like it browned the way I do, you need to tell them to cook it extra. The have a great sub and calzone as well.
